Coach Olson and former Waconia High School Baseball players will teach participants the proper fundamentals of hitting, fielding, and throwing. Participants should wear athletic clothing (including gym shoes) AND bring their glove, bat, and helmet.

BASEBALL THROWING/FIELDING CAMP
Join Waconia High School and Legion baseball Coach Erik Olson for 4 sessions of throwing/fielding practice. Coach Olson will draw from his experiences as a player and coach to teach proper throwing and fielding techniques as an infielder or an outfielder. Players will work with current Waconia High School players doing many of the same drills that players do.

BASEBALL PITCHING CAMP
In baseball, pitching is arguably the most important part of the game. Join Waconia High School and Legion Coach Erik Olson for 3 pitching sessions. Coach Olson will draw from his experiences as a college pitcher at the University of St. Thomas, a high school baseball coach, and a youth baseball instructor to teach participants the proper pitching fundamentals, focusing on the mechanics, arm care, and mental side of pitching. Participants should bring their baseball fielder’s glove and wear athletic clothing including gym shoes. *9-10-year-old participants need to have their own capable catcher with them each Sunday. *On 2/12 Super Bowl Sunday each session will start 1 hour sooner. 1pm, 2:15pm and 3:30pm

Join Waconia High School and Legion baseball Coach Erik Olson for # hitting sessions. Coach Olson will draw from his experiences as a player and coach to teach about the 5 components that make up a good hitter: 1) Vision 2) Timing 3) Mechanics 4) Approach 5) Situational Hitting. Players will get swings while working with Coach Olson and some of the current Waconia High School players.

Are you ready to pitch in a real baseball game? Join us at this intro to baseball pitching clinic to prepare for the player pitch portion of Pee Wee Baseball! Rain site is the WMS Gym. Participants should wear athletic clothing, cleats, bring a glove and provide their own adult/ older sibling catcher. Registration opens May 2023.
