7th/8th/9th Grade Southwest Community League Baseball (SWCL):

The SWCL has been added to offering to have recreation baseball teams for 7th, 8th and 9th grade kids that are not on a Metro traveling baseball team. 2 to 3 coaches will be needed for each team, if you sign up to coach and pass a background check please plan on attending the coaches meeting. The registration deadline will be Wednesday, February 21st. All dates and locations are subject to change based on registration numbers. Practices will start mid to late April (pending fields/weather) and the season will end around or before mid July.

7th/8th/9th Grade SWCL

Ages: 7th/8th/9th Grade / 2023-2024 School year

# of Dates: 12 games dates plus league tournament

Practices: 1, 2, or 3 nights a week Monday-Thursday @ coaches/team discretion

Game Nights: Games will be scheduled any night Monday-Thursday Starting May 6th

League Scheduling Meeting: Thursday April 11th (Date is subject to Change pending league approval) 1 coach from each team must attend.

Key Dates: League Schedule will be decided the night of league scheduling meeting. In May 1 game a week will be played. In June 2 games a week will be played.

League Tournament: TBD 1st or 2nd weekend of July.

Times: Practice and Game times will be between 5:30pm and 9pm.

Communities: Edina, Eden Prairie, Chaska, Shakopee, and Carver.

Fee: $150 (Includes Jersey w/ name/number, hat, balls, umpires, game and field supplies, & administration)

Coaches Meeting: Monday, March 25th 7:00pm to 7:30pm Laketown Gymnasium
