WINTER 2022-2023 BASKETBALL
SUNDAY NIGHT GIRLS BASKETBALL SCRIMMAGE SESSIONS
Scrimmage, scrimmage, scrimmage, let’s play basketball! Join us to develop or improve your basketball skills this spring! Each day we’ll shoot for 15 minutes to warm-up and then scrimmage for an hour. Basic instruction will be given within the scrimmaging. New teams will form weekly and pinnies will be provided daily. Please note this is a drop off activity and parents do not need to remain in the building. We could use a few volunteers to make this program successful, please email Holly one week prior if you are willing to help out on a court for that particular date. hwortz@isd110.org – Please bring your own basketball if you have one, we will have a few extra basketballs if you don’t have your own. We will have 3 courts going and the girls will be split up the courts by grade/skill level weekly.

Each player receives a team T-shirt. Coaches Needed: 1-2 per team. Each date will be both a practice and a game. Sorry, no refunds after the coaches meeting has been held. *You may only register for ONE of these 1st/2nd leagues.
Monday & Saturday leagues limited to 80 kids, may fill prior to the registration deadline Ages: Grades 1st & 2nd Fall of 2021. (Kindergartners 2021-2022 are NOT eligible to play up.)
Photo Day: Saturday, December 4 OR Monday, December 6 *With your first practice/game.

Each player receives a rented purple/white reversible uniform top.
Coaches Needed: 2-3 per team. Matching purple/white shorts can be purchased separately through the CE online at https://wcedbb21.itemorder.com/
Before the registration deadline, please come into the CE office to try on a jersey top for sizing purposes. Sorry, no refunds after the coaches meeting has been held.
2nd graders may play up with 3rd graders and 3rd graders may play up with 4th graders in these leagues if a parent volunteers to coach prior to the registration deadline.
Ages: Grade 3rd & 4th Fall of 2021. (3rd/4th graders may need to combined pending registration numbers.)

Practices: Begins the week of November 30th | Tuesday and/or Thursdays after 5:30pm
Game Dates: December 11, 18, (skip 25 & January 1) January 8 (skip 15) 22, 29, February 5, 12 (skip 19) & 26 Saturday
Sites: Waconia Schools (may travel to surrounding towns on Saturdays for 4th grade (or if combined) including; NYA, Watertown, Big Lake, Hutchinson, Annandale, Glencoe, Lester Prairie & others.
Fee: $95 plus a $50 jersey deposit. Upon the return of the jersey when the season has ended, you will be refunded $35. If the jersey is not returned by March 13 the $35 will be voided. Uniform top rental fee will be charged to your debit/credit on 12/1/21
